Plan the work
Verify the latest cabinet drawings against plumbing, electrical, appliances, finished floor and room dimensions before delivery. Identify panels that cannot be fitted after boxes are set.
Define the scope
Clarify unloading, storage, assembly, modifications, fillers, panels, handles, toe kicks, countertop templates, appliance panels and deficiency responsibility.
Include the project location, current photos, plans if available, approximate dimensions, desired finish and timing. For renovations, show adjacent surfaces that remain.
What careful installation involves
Installers establish the high point of the floor, set a level datum and build outward from a verified reference cabinet. Boxes are joined, anchored and adjusted before decorative panels.
Review before sign-off
- Check alignment and visual consistency from normal viewing positions.
- Operate every door, drawer or moving component.
- Confirm joints, fasteners and surfaces are ready for the agreed finish.
- Record any deficiencies and who is responsible for correction.
