Build a room schedule
List each room and its baseboard, door casing, window treatment, crown and special conditions. Mark transitions at cabinets, tile, stairs and feature walls.
Confirm the profile system
Review full-size samples where possible. Check that casing width fits beside nearby walls and that baseboard height works with outlets, vents and cabinet toe kicks.
Coordinate the sequence
Floor thickness, door jamb depth and wall finishes affect trim. Decide whether walls are painted before trim, who fills nail holes and when final coats are applied.
Prepare the site
Rooms should be dry, accessible and near normal service conditions. Confirm secure material storage, cutting location, dust control and protection for finished floors.
Save the selected samples, marked-up drawings, quote and written changes together. A shared record is one of the simplest ways to avoid misunderstandings.
